MOVED BY SAUL, SECONDED BY HILL, THAT LANDSCAPE, INC. BE AWARDED
THE CONTRACT IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,990 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
PHASE II, CHRISTENSEN GREENBELT PARK.*
Councilman Bohrer asked what the period of construction is?
Councilman Hill said he believed it was a 60 day construction
period. They are trying to get it done before the first of
the year. Councilman Bohrer asked if the property owner has
laid the base for the trail per the agreement. Mayor Todd
said he believes that is finished. Councilman Bohrer asked
what the budgetted amount for the project is? Councilman Hill
said he thought $54,000 or $55,000.
*MOTION CARRIED.
Councilman Bohrer said Council has not had a chance to discuss
this subject, as no representative for the applicant was present
at the October 27 meeting.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY SAUL, THAT THIS ITEM BE PUT FORWARD
TO THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE AGENDA AS ITEM NO. 4A.*
Mayor Todd said the applicant has been waiting a considerable
time for Council to hear this. This was put on the Special
Meeting agenda because it is just a formality. The Planning
Staff is prepared to testify that they have met the conditions
of the waiver as specified by Council. They want to get started.
Mayor Todd requested that Council listen to the Planning Director's
recommendation and act on this waiver.
