M I N U T E S
Council President Saul called the Budget Meeting to order.
MABEL HARRIS, GEORGE HILL, DORIS PHELPS, DANIEL SAUL, Council
President, GARY VAN DUSEN.
Approved as submitted. Part time clerk split between Court and
Administrative Assistant. Judge Payne explained the new de-
criminalization laws to Council and said they expect it will
take more man hours making it necessary to come back the middle
of next year for more funds.
Mrs. Kristofferson explained how she intends to restructure
the work load in her department.
Transportation (10.33) reduced to $800. Change Transportation
(10.33, Page 60) to $2,730.
It was noted that the Building and Planning Secretary is in-
cluded in the City Clerk's Budget.
Transportation (21.33) reduced to $500.
Council approved CC81 -1 Typewriter.
Council approved FIN81 -1 Calculator.
Salary for the Council Secretary reduced to $3,000.
It was agreed that the Judge would get the same wage increase
that is approved for the Department Heads.
Council discussed the position of Grant's Coordinator and was
told the City had applied for Block Grant funds to pay his wages.
Council deferred discussion on the full time Mayor position and
will come back to it later.
Transportation (33) reduced to $550.
Printing and Binding (35) reduced to $3,500.
Council decided to meet Tuesday, D&Fembe9 to review the
Non Departmental /Miscellaneous Services/Budget requests.
