The work tobaperformed within Forty -Five (45)working days from the date ofNotice toProceed consists
offurnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for:
Installation of pedestrian safety crossing control devices and memooimtad improvements
Specific tasks shall include, but are not necessarily limited to:
° Sawcutting existing pavement, removing pavement andpavement repairs.
° Providing all necessary traffic control labor and devices.
° Providing temporary erosion/water pollution control.
° Removing and replacing concrete curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and ramps.
° Installation ofsolar powered Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB)
° Installing new chmnna|izmtionand aiBnaga.
° Property restoration.
° And other items necessary tocomplete the Work mashown on the Contract Documents.

copies of any available maps, plans, specifications, and subsurface information are on file for inspection in
thao#oaof the Tukwila City Engineer, sdthe Public Works Department.
All bid proposals shall be submitted according to the Information for Bidders and be accompanied by
bid proposal deposit in the form of a cash deposit, certified or cashier's check, postalmoney order, orsurety
bond made payable to the City of Tukwila, for a sum not |eoo than five percent (5%) of the amount of
such bid, including oa|ao tax. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish
satisfactory payment and performance bonds within the time stated in the npeciUcsdiona, the bid
depuoit/bondoha|| be forfeited tothe City ofTukwila.
The City ofTukwila hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contracts entered
into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit
bids in response hothis invitation and will not be discriminated against onthe grounds ofrace, color, sex
or national origin inconsideration for anaward.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all tide or waive any informalities in the bidding and make
