As Lydig's Diversity Manager, she keeps current on equal opportunity and affirmative action regulations for diversity and inclusion. Darling's background as a contract administrator has given her the opportunity to work hand -in -hand with our subcontractors as an integral part of many of our major projects. Her commitment to diversity and inclusion extends to her committee work including Tabor ioo and NAMC. She is also part of the AGC of Washington's DiversityTask Force. Darling will leverage her knowledge and experience to ensure opportunities are provided to, and capitalized by, local and S/D/WBE firms for the project. Bow Lake Transfer Station -Tukwila, WA GC/CM services for this new, LEED Platinum certified 100,596 SF replacement transfer building for more efficient recycling and garbage handling while the existing transfer station remained in full operation 24/7. Port of Seattle, S aTac Airport Centralized Pr -conditioned Air - SeaTac, WA Project scope included installation of chillers, heaters, and piping throughoutthe 600,000 SF facility while the airport remained fully occupied and operational. BACKGROUND 2.5 Years Industry Experience & CEN IFICATIONS Secretarial Certificate International Business College, Indiana National Association of Minority Contractors, Chair - Education and Membership Committee, Board Member Tabor ioo: Membership Committee Member AGC — Diversity Task Force EMPLOYMENT HISTORY Lydig Construction 2002 - Present I first met Darling at an outreach event she organized for select contractors. I had recently started my contract flooring business and was actively seeking opportunities to network with reputable general contractors in the Puget Sound region. From our initial phone conversations, I was impressed by Darling's responsiveness and professionalism. But it wasn't until I met her in person that I got a true sense of what's led to her success as an industry leader; Her energy, warmth, passion, and commitment to everything she takes on. She took the time to learn about me, my business, and my needs as a start-up business owner. She introduced me to key people within her organization and helped me identify subcontracting opportunities on upcoming Lydig projects. This led to a significant subcontracting opportunity on a public works project, which allowed me to demonstrate my company's capabilities.
