Description of Incident
On Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at about 12:OOAM, Tukwila Police Officers in the vicinity of
Southcenter Blvd and Tukwila International Blvd heard the sound of an illegal discharge. A 32-year-
old male from Tukwila, WA with life -threatening injuries was located by officers in the parking lot of a
gas station in the 15200 block Tukwila International Blvd. The victim was rushed to Harborview
Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
Tukwila Police Officers arrested a 24-year-old male from Renton in connection with the shooting. A
9mm firearm that had been reported stolen during a burglary in Monroe, WA was recovered at the
scene along with multiple shell casings. The suspect was booked into jail on a charge of Murder in
the 2nd Degree.
During the investigation, a 26-year-old male form Kent, WA repeatedly tried to enter the crime scene
and refused to follow multiple commands to remain outside of the crime scene. He was arrested for
Obstructing a Public Servant. He also had a felony warrant out of the King County Sheriff's Office for
Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and was booked into jail.
