Members Present: Kathy Hougardy (Chair), Miesa Berry, Jim Davis, Mike West, Ashley Messmer,
and Asia Wen.
Members Absent: Ben Oliver and Dan Lee. Note, one position is vacant due the resignation of
Becky Smith.
Staff Present: Brandon Miles, Mayor's Office and LTAC Staff, Tracy Gallaway Parks and
Recreation Program Manager.

everyone to the meeting and
asked everyone to go around
the room introducing
themselves.

Baker Blvd Tourist
Enhancements
Tracy Gallaway, Parks and
Recreation provided an
overview of the City's art plan
for the Southcenter District,
specifically focused on Baker
City of Tukwila
6200 Southcenter Blvd.
Tukwila, WA 98188
Approved by LTAC on April 23, 2019
Blvd. The plan has two parts,
obtain initial funding from
4Culture for plan development
and small arts project. Part 2 is
a large scope of art installation.
Concept of the pavement art at
Christensen and Baker was
discussed; pop up art; banners,
and murals.
Possible future funding from
LTAC may be requested.
LTAC members expressed
overall support for the idea of
improving the art and visual
appearance of the Southcenter
District.
Roundtable
LTAC members and staff
provided information relevant
to the group, including an brief
update on the Public Safety
Plan.
