HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-09-23 - Public Hearing - Ordinances Updating Critical Areas CodeCITY OF TUKWILA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, September 23, 2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200 Southcenter Blvd., Tukwila, WA to consider the following: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REPEALING ORDINANCE NOS. 2301 AND 2368 §47, §48, §49 AND §50; REENACTING TMC CHAPTER 18.45, TO BE TITLED "ENVIRONMENTALLY CRITICAL AREAS," TO ESTABLISH NEW REGULATIONS RELATED TO SAID AREAS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING VARIOUS ORDINANCES AS CODIFIED IN TUKWILA MUNICIPAL CODE (TMC) CHAPTERS 18.52, "LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS;" 18.54, "URBAN FORESTRY AND TREE REGULATIONS;" AND 18.70, "NONCONFORMING STRUCTURES;" TO UPDATE ZONING REGULATIONS RELATED TO ENVIRONMENTALLY CRITICAL AREAS; AMENDING VARIOUS ORDINANCES AS CODIFIED IN CHAPTER 18.06, "DEFINITIONS"; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. All interested persons are invited to be present to voice approval, disapproval, or opinions on this issue. For those unable to attend in person, you may submit written testimony to the City Clerk's office until 5:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Tukwila City Hall is wheelchair accessible.
