AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA VACATING A CERTAIN
PORTION OF 56th AVENUE SOUTH IN THE TOWN OF TUKWILA
WHEREAS, on February 16, 1959, a petition was filed with
the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila for the vacation of a
certain portion of 56th Avenue South in the Town of Tukwila; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to action of said Council and under the
authority of Resolution No. 113 thereof, due notice of the
hearing on said petition was published as required by law; and
WHEREAS, hearing on said petition was held on March 19,
1959, and no objection was made to the vacation of the above
described street;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TUKWILA
SECTION 1: That that portion of 56th Avenue South lying
south of a line which is 1200 feet north of and parallel to the
east and west center line of Section 26, Township 23 North, Range
1 E.W.M. King County, Washington be, and the same hereby is
vacated.
SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall be in effect five
days from and after its passage, approval and publication as
provided by law.
