AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO 265 OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUKWILA as
follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 265, reading as follows;
"That the salaries and compensations of the various oficers and
employees of the Town of Tukwila are hereby set and fixed as
follows, for the year 1959:

Lois T. Newton, Clerk
900.00 per year;
5200.00 per year;
2.10 per hour;
130.00 per year;
Attorney, 1080.00 per year;
Clerk- Treasurer, 1603.00 per year;
Collector, water dept. 792.00 per yaer;
Park Superintendent, 1344.48 per year;
Water Supers ntendeflt, 1852.80 per year;
Street Superintendent,2483.32 per year;
Extra labor on a sliding scale from 51.50 per hour to ,2.35
per hour, not to exceed, in the Park.Department and /or Town
Hall, 342.70 per year; not to exceed, in the ater Department,
}700.00 per year; not to exceed, in the Street Department,
0433.05 per year."
be and the same hereby is repealed and re enacted as follows:
"Section 1. That the salaries and compensations.of the_various
officers and employees of the Town of Tukwila are hereby set and
fixed as follows, for the year 1950:

5200.00 per year;
2.10 per hour;
180.00 per year;
1080.00 per year;
1603.00 per year;
Police Judge,

Deputy Marshals,
Court Clerk,
Attorney,
Clerk Treasurer,
Collector, Water Dept,. 792.00 per year;
Park juperintendent, 1544.43 per year;
Water Superintendent, 1352.30 per year;
Street Superintendent, 2433.32 per year;
Town Engineer, to be appointed and to act in an advisory capacity
at 51.00 per year.
Extra labor on a sliding scale from 0..50 per hour to 52.35 per
hour, not to exceed, in the park Department and /or -Town Hall,
:;i;342.70 per year; not to exceed, in the Water Department, :;700.00
per year; not to exceed, in the Street Department, 51483.05 per
year."
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as required_by law.
PASSED the Town Council and APPROVED by the Mayor this 16th day
of February 1959.
