REPEALED BY ORD 563
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ON-SITE INSPECTION OF BUILDINGS
PROPOSED TO BE MOVED INTO OR WITHIN THE TOWN OF TUKWILA,
PRESCRIBING INSPECTION FEES AND METHODS, REQUIRING THE
FURNISHING OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, DEFINING OFFENSES AND
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES.
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TLTKWIL.A DO ORDAIN AS FOLLO+;S:
SECTION 1. That any person, firm or corporation who proposes to
move an existing building from any site to another site within the
Town of Tukwila shall, prior to such move, apply for an on -site
inspection by the building Official.
SECTION 2. That upon such application, ana upon payment of the
fee herein provided, the E Official shall notify the applicant
of the date and time of his inspection. The inspection shall be made
at the original location of the building prior to its removal there-
from to any site within the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 3. That for any application herein provided for, there
shall be charged and collected an inspection fee in the amount of
p25.00 if the building is situated within 25 miles of the Town of
Tukwila, and 50.00 if the said building is situated at a distance in
excess of 25 miles from the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 4. That the applicant shall, prior to the inspection, re-
move from the said building enough of the interior wall and ceiling
coverings, including plaster, plasterboard or other similar material
so that studs, girts, plates, braces ana other structural members, to-
gether with wiring and rough plumbing can be inspected, to the satis-
faction of the Building Inspector of the Town of Tukwila, or his agent.

SECTION 5. That if, at or after the time of the inspection, the
Building Official notifies the applicant that any portion of the
building, electrical wiring or rough plumbing is in any way in
violation of the orainances of the Town of Tukwila, such tnat a com-
pliance with any such ordinance will require a replacement of any
parts or materials used, then any such defective parts or materials
shall be removed from the building prior to its removal to any site
within the Town of Tukwila.
SECTION 6. That no approval shall be given to any application
hereunder until the applicant has filed with the Building Ufficial
complete plans and specifications of the building, in duplicate, as
it is proposed to be when completed and in place upon its site with-
in the Town of Tukwila.
SE 7. That the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
to be severable, and the adjudication that any portion of this ordi-
nance is invalid for any reason, shall not affect the validity of
any portion not so adjudged.
SECTION 3. That any violation of the provisions of this ordinance
shall be deemed to be a misdemeanor, and shall be punishable by a fine
not to exceed y300.00 or by imprisonment for aterm not to exceed 90
clays, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
SECTION 9. That this ordinance shall take effect ana be in force
seven days after its passage, approval and public posting.
PASSED by the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila, rrashington
and approved by the Mayor this 19 day of January 1959.
