MINUTES
Council President Van Dusen called the Budget Review Meeting of the
Tukwila City Council to order at 7:15 P. M.

Administrative Assistant SHARON WYLIE, City Clerk MAXINE ANDERSON,
Director of Planning Brad Collins, Director of Finance ALAN DOERSCHEL,
Senior Engineer PHIL FRASER, Maintenance Superintendent TED FREEMIRE.
Approved by the Council as submitted.
It was noted there should be $15,000 added to Residential Street
Utility Underground, Total Preliminary Engineering, so it would be
a total of $30,000. The $15,000 is a carry -over from 1981. The
Council approved the $30,000.
Council approved the Preliminary Engineering, Macadam Road from
Southcenter Boulevard to South 150th Street, be increased from
$15,000 to $30,000
The Council requested that the Preliminary Engineering for Minkler
Boulevard Extension from Andover Park West to Southcenter Parkway
(LID consideration, estimated right -of -way acquisition $336,000)
be deleted; 188th Connector with I -5 (LID consideration) in the
amount of $1,090,225 be deleted; Interurban Avenue improvements
between I -5 overpass to Southcenter Boulevard in the amount of
$65,500 be deleted. In Construction Engineering, the 188th Connector
with I -5 (LID consideration) in the amount of $162,680 be deleted.
Council requested $6,000, Extra Labor, be deleted from Personnel
Services. It was noted there was an error in the Preliminary Budget
and Storm Drainage should be $84,000 rather than $64,000.
Council requested that $20,000 for modification of storm
manhole at Andover Park West and Tukwila Parkway be deleted.

The Council requested that $2,000 from Extra Labor and $3,000 from
Overtime be deleted.

Approved by Council as submitted. Finance Director Alan Doerschel
said $17,500 seems too low for Interfund Services.
