Opioid panel & discussion- 90 3. Economic development presentation- 20 4. Discuss October meeting — 5 1. Introductions were made. 2. Behavioral Health professionals from Sound PATH program (C. Jacobson, Project for the Assistance of Transition from Homelessness) and Catholic Community Services CReW program (M. Landis, Counseling, Recovery, Wellness) are working with Tukwila's Community Policing Team (CPT) and other stakeholders to connect residents impacted by homelessness and opioid addiction to much needed services. Concerns/gaps in services include: timely access to services, resident willingness, limited services in SKC, agency information sharing (release of info), those impacted are getting younger, parents afraid of their kids (physical violence), kids/parents co -experiencing behavioral health issues, limited supportive housing, limited safe parking, lack of community knowledge on accessing services. Resources/Actions: Outreach/Advocate teams are building trusting relationships with those in need (in community on Tuesdays/Wednesdays), meet basic needs first (food, hygiene, potential shelter) then greater willingness to accept services, access to treatment services can be within the week, CCS has a Family Behavioral Health program in Tukwila, more housing with supportive services on -site, advocate to King County for increased funding to SKC (funding doesn't match need), community networking for information sharing, system navigator. . 3. D. Speck along with O. Johansen presented information to the HSAB about Tukwila's current Economic Development Plan. After a brief presentation, input was asked from the HSAB. Once available, ED staff will share the link to the Economic Development on-line survey that may help shape future Tukwila development. 4. October Meeting is scheduled for October 3rd, 2:00pm-4:00pm.
