BACKGROUND The 2019 State Legislature provided funding for local jurisdictions to assist implementing new NPDES Phase II permit requirements. The City applied for $95,000 of the 2019-2021 Biennial Stormwater Capacity Grant. ANALYSIS The City has been awarded $95,000 for the 2019 - 2021 Biennial Stormwater Capacity Grant and the agreement is now ready for signature. FISCAL IMPACT This State Capacity Grant is non-competitive and no matching funds are required. RECOMMENDATION Council is being asked to accept Washington's State Department of Ecology's 2019-2021 Water Quality Stormwater Capacity Grant Agreement for $95,000 and consider this item on the Consent Agenda at the October 21, 2019 Regular Meeting.
