• Francesca Abellera, Census Bureau Partnership Specialist presented the
2020 Census overview and Census timeline.
• Mikkell Roeland requested that the next month's meeting will focus on
commissioners workplan for 2019, reviewing the ESJC budget and
preparing for next year's scope of work for 2020.
• December's meeting will be held at Tukwila Community Center.

Tukwila Arts Commission
Updates
August 28, 2019 - Fall Arts Activities/National Arts & Humanities Month - several
activities have been planned for this fall. Artist residence Olisa Enrico -Johnson and
Sarah Kavage will be wrapping up their residencies with the City of Tukwila in the
coming months. The artist will be preparing a final report that will be ready for
review at the November Arts Commission retreat. Southcenter District Art Project -
Artist Beth Gahan is under contract and will be beginning work in the Southcenter
District Sidewalk Painting project.

October 3rd, 2019 - Recap of Tent City 3, Census 2020, Organizations & Transitions
and Year End Protocol discussion. Next Meeting: December 5th, 2019.
