Thanks for the quick reply. As we have discussed with some of your previous applications, you must use a continuous perimeter to measure the sign area. It does NOT have to be a rectangular perimeter, but it does have to encompass the entire sign, including the logo. Let me know if you have any additional questions about this. I received the revised plans, thanks for sending. Unfortunately, I'm still having a bit of difficulty verifying the area of the sign. With your other recent applications, it was really helpful when you included the perimeter you used to calculate the sign area. If you could please resend the Granite Transformation sign plans with the perimeter included that would be great. Also please make sure you include the perimeter on all future applications, unless you use a simple rectangle to measure the area, in which case it is not necessary. This sign permit application can be used to determine the total number of building mounted signs permitted for your business. The application also provides the specific code standards for the common types of building mounted signs, see TMC 19 Sign Code for details. Please note that you may not qualify for all signage types outlined in this application. Section 1- Wall or Awning Face Sign Each public entrance is eligible for either a flush mounted wall sign or an awning face sign. In some cases an additional wall sign maybe permitted on walls that do not have entrances, see Section 2 of this application.
