Sign permits are valid for 180 days from the date of issuance. You are required to request a final inspection prior to the permit expiration date. You may be granted one extension of not more than 30 days if you submit a request for extension prior to permit expiration. If you wish to install or alter the sign after the permit expires, a new permit will be required. Please note that in its current condition, the signage would fail an inspection, since the "Carside to go" wall sign was not shown on your plans. To pass inspection, you must obtain a permit for this sign. If you have any questions about the permitting process, please call 206-431-2164 and reference the permit number listed above. The approved plans (supplied by Design Team) can be used providing no changes are made, however a new permit does actually need to be applied for by Signs Plus NW in order to complete the work for the sign on the south facade. The permit fee will be $222.00. The application is attached. Sorry for the confusion. He is going to review the building permit and see if we can just change the scope of work to this one (if the plans show enough info for what we still need to do), or if we need a new permit and new plans. If we do just change the scope of work, we'll just check with Kim and make sure it's ok as she pulled that permit with an Owner Affidavit (no actual contractor).
