Your permit application is currently under review. You should receive written notice of the status of your application in approximately 3-5 business days. Although we review sign permits as quickly as possible (often within one week), you should allow for plenty of time in your project schedule for permit review. If we are unable to issue your permit within 120 days, you will 1 receive a written statement of explanation as to why this time limit has not been met and an estimated date for issuance of a notice of final decision. Any modification to project plans occurring before issuance of the permit shall be deemed a new application for the purpose of the 120-day permit clock when such modification results in a substantial change in the project's review requirements, as determined by the Department. Additional Information: As currently proposed, the incentive sign on the North East wall does not appear to meet code. This will serve as an official notice of incompleteness. In order to make the application complete, you must provide the following within 90 days: Your Tukwila Business License number or proof that you have applied for a Tukwila Business License Scaled and Dimensioned drawings or plans of sign "B" with area calculations A scaled elevation of the building walls where the signs will be located indicating the location and dimensions of the exposed building face used to calculate maximum allowable sign area Other: Please show the dimensions (length and height) of the signs on your plans. Please verify the location of exterior public building entrances. If we have not received the requested information within 90 days, your application will be cancelled. You may be granted an extension of up to 120 additional days if we receive a written request for extension. Additional Information: Your application was missing plans for sign "B." Dimensions given were inconsistent. Your plans show a northeast building face of 2111 sq ft vs. 3091 on your application. Your plans for sign "A" show an area of 86.2 sq ft vs. 115.67 on your application. Please verify the dimensions of the building walls and the proposed signs. Our sign code generally allows one sign per exterior public entrance. Service entrances, entrances that are not open to the public, and entrances with limited access (as with keyed or coded entry) do not qualify as exterior public entrances. If a wall face does not contain an exterior public entrance, it may still qualify for an incentive sign (see TMC 19.20.050.F(4)).
