AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF MONIES NOT PROVIDED
FOR IN THE PRECEDING ANNUAL BUDGET SETTING OUT THE AMOUNT
CONSTITUTING THE EMERGENCY FOR SAID EXPENDITURE AND THE ESTIMATED
AMOUNT OF MONEY REQUIRED TO MEET THE SAME AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
EXISTS.
WHEREAS obligations have been incurred and will be ineurred,
which, in the judgement of the Town Colipcil of the Town ar'rVkwilai
could not have been reasonably foreseen at the.-adption of the. pre-.
ceding annual budget, and
WHEREAS through annexation, additional revenues; such as the
0 0unty Road Tax refunds to the Town from the irtevtIY annexe*:-.area are
available, It becomes necessary to place suchfunds in the' 1958 Bud.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA AS FOLLOWS
sECTION 1 The estimated amount to be received from the County
Road Fund and to be placed in the 1958 budget for the maintenance and
upkeep of the annexed streets and which could not have been reasonably

Section 2. The estimated &mount of eblic,ations incurred and to be
incurred by the Town of Tukwila which could not have been reasobably
foreseen at the time of the adoption of the preceding annual budget
for additional expenditures of the i;ater Department for the purchase
of Water Lines of the Independent Water Company and the Maintenance
and upkeep of sane in the amount of $1,825.00 and the Revised budget shall be as
follows:
Section 3. It is hereby declared that an emerj;ency existf2 for the
payment of the above obligations incurred and to be incurred as sev,
out in sections 1 and 2 of the herein ordinance, and that tl L=fore-

presently more than said amounts in the treasury of the Town o.
Tukwila, in the surplus fund.
Section 4 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately after its passage approval and publication as provided
by law.
