PERMIT CONDITIONS: 1: Work shall be installed in accordance with the approved construction documents, and any changes made during construction that are not in accordance with the approved construction documents shall be resubmitted for approval. 2: All permits, inspection record card and approved construction documents shall be kept at the site of work and shall be open to inspection by the Building Inspector until final inspection approval is granted. 3: Readily accessible access to roof mounted equipment is required. 4: All construction shall be done in conformance with the Washington State Building Code and the Washington State Energy Code. 5: Remove all demolition rubble and loose miscellaneous material from lot or parcel of ground, properly cap the sanitary sewer connections, and properly fill or otherwise protect all basements, cellars, septic tanks, wells, and other excavations. Final inspection approval will be determined by the building inspector based on satisfactory completion of this requirement. 6: All plumbing and gas piping work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila Building Department (206-431-3670). 7: All electrical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila Permit Center. 8: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City of Tukwila. Permits presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other ordinances of the City of Tukwila shall not be valid. These devices shall be separately zoned in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance #2437) 14: H.V.A.C. systems supplying air in excess of 2,000 cubic feet per minute to enclosed spaces within buildings shall be equipped with an automatic shutoff. Automatic shutoff shall be accomplished by interrupting the power source of the air -moving equipment upon detection of smoke in the main return -air duct served by such equipment. Smoke detectors shall be labeled by an approved agency for air -duct installation and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. CenturyLink .Seattle SE-4 UPS Room Cooling System Upgrade Electrical Scope of Work Requirements The electrical scope of work consists of the following: • Disconnect existing power from both the indoor Liebert AC units and the outdoor roof mounted condensing units to enable the removal of this equipment from the project site. • Provide new power from existingelectrical services that currently provide power to the existing Liebert units that are being removed to provide power to the new Trane AHUs. We are installing four (4) new units to replace the existing three (3) split systems. The new AHUs are chilled water units that will be piped to the existing chilled water loop on the roof. There will be no new roof mounted equipment and the electrical to the roof units can be deleted. The existing electrical loads are much greater than the Toads going back in for the four (4) new AHUs, so power to the new equipment should be very simple. • The units will need to be removed and replaced one at a time to keep the room being cooled from the existing equipment. The new piping will be installed ahead of the removal and replacement of the existing equipment so that one unit can be removed and replaced, powered up and functionally operational before removal and replacement of the next unit, etc. • I need you to extend the existing electrical heat trace wiring from the chilled water loop on the roof for each of the new chilled water branch lines that are being installed on site, with the piping exposed on the roof having the heat trace.
