I have enclosed comments from the following departments: BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Allen Johannessen at 206-433-7163 if you have questions regarding these comments. • (GENERAL NOTE) PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size I Ix17 to maximum size of 2406; all sheets shall be the same size. New revised plan sheets shall be the same size sheets as those previously submitted.) (If applicable) All Structural Drawings and structural calculations sheets to be stamped (original signed wet stamp, not copied) by Washington State licensed architect, structural engineer or civil engineer. (BUILDING REVIEW NOTES) 1. The reference keys to the different details appear to not refer to the correct details. Please clarify and revise as necessary. 2. The plan details show some stainless steel spikes and mushroom head anchors for the walls. Provide more specific information for the hardware to include hardware type, manufacture's recommendation for installation and that refers to ICC's ESR report number for the type of anchors. Anchors shall be rated or designed for that specific application. The short walls design shall be sufficiently anchored to prevent lateral movement both top and bottom. 3. All materials to include the plywood and 2x framing shown shall be fire retardant treated wood or non - combustion type materials. Plans shall identify type of non-combustible materials used for this space to meet building code requirements for Type II construction. Structures (temporary or permanent) shall meet the following requirements: 1. Combustible structures shall not be located within the mall unless constructed of any of the following materials: 1.1. Fire -retardant -treated wood complying with Section 2303.2. 1.2. Foam plastics having a maximum heat -release rate not greater than 100 kilowatts (105 Btu/h) when tested in accordance with the exhibit booth protocol in UL 1975. 1.3. Aluminum composite material (ACM) having a flame spread index of not more than 25 and a smoke - developed index of not more than 450 when tested as an assembly in the maximum thickness intended for use in accordance with ASTM E 84 or UL 723.
