PERMIT CONDITIONS: 3: The total number of fire extinguishers required for a light hazard occupancy with Class A fire hazards is calculated at one extinguisher for each 3,000 sq. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be of the "all purpose" (2A, 10 B:C) dry chemical type. The travel distance to any extinguisher must be 75' or less. (IFC 906.3) (NFPA 10, 5.4) 1: Portable fire extinguishers, not housed in cabinets, shall be installed on the hangers or brackets supplied. Hangers or brackets shall be securely anchored to the mounting surface in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. These locations shall be along normal paths of travel, unless the fire code official determines that the hazard posed indicates the need for placement away from normal paths of travel. The City has determined that the 14900 Interurban Ave S building has deficiencies on the domestic water service line. The 1.5" Reduced Pressure Principle Assembly (RPPA) installed on the domestic water connection for premise isolation failed the last test in February 2015 and Public Works has not yet received a follow-up test report after repair so it is overdue.
