Per the International Building Code, International Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code and/or the National Electric Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of these codes shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit has not begun within 180 days from the issuance date of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work has begun for a period of 180 days. Your permit will expire on 6/4/2016. Based on the above, you are hereby advised to: 1) Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206-438-9350 to schedule for the next or final inspection. REFER TO THE HOIST'S TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION MANUAL FOR INFORMATION NOT SHOWN IN THE BROCHURE OR IN THIS DRAWING SET. 2. WHEN ANCHORING THE BASE FRAME TO THE CONCRETE FOOTING WITH EXPANSION TYPE ANCHORS, THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS APPLY: - THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF FIRST MAST BRACE IS 30 ft. (9m) PROVIDED THAT THE REDUCED ALLOWABLE ERECTION PAYLOAD OF 2,560 lb. (1 160kg) IS NOT EXCEEDED. - INSTALLATION IS PROHIBITED WHEN WIND SPEED IS IN EXCESS OF 12.5m/s (28mph). 3. THE EXPANSION ANCHORS MUST BE CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING THE PULL OUT FORCE NOTED UNDER THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: - FREESTANDING IN SERVICE PULL OUT FORCE = 15,060 lb. (67kN) RECOMMENDED ANCHOR: 3/4" WILLIAMS R1S SPIN -LOCK ANCHOR PART NO. R1S06C14 HEAD ASSEMBLY WITH ASTM A1081C1045 BOLT AND NUT, DRILL HOLE 1 3/4" DIA. 11" MINIMUM EMBEDMENT. - FREESTANDING DURING ERECTION WITH ERECTION PAYLOAD NOT EXCEEDING 2,560 lb. (1 160kg) PULL OUT FORCE = 11,465 lb. (51kN) RECOMMENDED ANCHOR: 5/8" WILLIAMS R1 S SPIN -LOCK ANCHOR PART NO. R1 S05A10 HEAD ASSEMBLY WITH ASTM A108/C1045 BOLT AND NUT, DRILL HOLE 1 1/4" DIA. 8" MINIMUM EMBEDMENT. 4. THE ANCHOR PULL OUT REQUIREMENTS MAY BE REDUCED TO 8,450 lb. (37.6kN) IF THE FOLLOWING ERECTION PROCEDURE IS USED: - INCREASE THE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF CONCRETE (f'c) FROM 3,625 psi TO 4,000 psi MINIMUM. - REDUCE THE ALLOWABLE ERECTION PAYLOAD TO 700 lb. (320kg). ERECTION PAYLOAD ASSUMES A PAYLOAD OF TWO PEOPLE AND ONE MAST BRACE WHILE THE MAST BRACE IS INSTALLED. - HOIST MAST MUST BE ASSEMBLED ON THE GROUND AND LIFTED IN PLACE WITH AN AUXILIARY CRANE. - AS A PRECAUTION, THE AUXILIARY CRANE MUST REMAIN ATTACHED TO THE HOIST MAST WHILE THE FIRST MAST BRACE IS INSTALLED. - ONE HOIST CAR MAY BE RAISED TO THE FIRST MAST BRACE ELEVATION WHILE THE HOIST MAST IS STILL ATTACHED TO THE AUXILIARY CRANE TO PROVIDE A WORK PLATFORM FOR THE MAST BRACE INSTALLATION. - RECOMMENDED ANCHOR: 1" x 12" HILTI KWIK BOLT 3. 7" MINIMUM EMBEDMENT. 5. THE ANCHOR RECOMMENDATIONS ARE NOT INTENDED FOR HOIST APPLICATIONS IN EXTREME COLD TEMPERATURES. PLEASE CONSULT MEC'S ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT FOR ANCHOR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE IN EXTREME COLD TEMPERATURES. 6. INSTALL EXPANSION ANCHORS ACCORDING TO BOLT MANUFACTURER'S REQUIREMENTS.
