TIVE SESSION TO DISCUSS THE STATUS OF LABOR NEGOTIATIONS WITH
FRANK DENNIS. MOTION CARRIED.
MOVED BY HILL, SECONDED BY DUFFIE, THAT THE EXECUTIVE SESSION
BE CLOSED. MOTION CARRIED.
Mayor Van Dusen led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the
Regular Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order.

MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY PHELPS, THAT COUNCILMAN HARRIS BE
EXCUSED FROM THE MEETING. MOTION CARRIED.

Mayor Van Dusen reported that the small construction projects
at City Hall had been completed and inspected to the satis-
faction of all those involved.

from the Consent Agenda to Item 7c.

Adoption of Byron Sneva, Public Works Director, explained that the action by
final design Council is to adopt the final design report for Southcenter Blvd.

cations. For this particular phase, the cost to the City is
$21,741. The balance, $127,890, has been paid from federal
funds. There is no contract for the next phase.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY HILL, THAT COUNCIL ACCEPT THE ENTRANCO
STUDY FOR THE SOUTHCENTER BOULEVARD DESIGN FOR IMPROVEMENTS AND
RELOCATION. MOTION CARRIED.
MOVED BY BOHRER, SECONDED BY DUFFIE, THAT THE PROPOSED ORDINANCE
ON THE TAX LEVIES BE FORWARDED TO THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING
AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED.
Councilman Bauch said he asked to have the Claim for Damages
removed from the Consent Agenda because it does not say whether
the recommendation is to approve or deny.
MOVED BY HILL, SECONDED BY DUFFIE, THAT COUNCIL CONCUR WITH THE
RECOMMENDATION AND PAY THE CLAIM FOR DAMAGES IN THE AMOUNT OF
$50.40. MOTION CARRIED.
MOVED BY HILL, SECONDED BY DUFFIE, THAT COUNCIL TAKE A FIVE
MINUTE BREAK, THEN GO INTO A COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING.
