EDGAR D. BAUCH, JOE H. DUFFIE, GEORGE D. HILL, WENDY MORGAN.
Councilman Hill, acting as Chairman of the Meeting in the
absence of Council President Bohrer, called the Budget Hearing
to order at 7:30 p.m.
Byron Sneva, Director of Public Works, said Revision 1 would be
a reduction of 1 utility person and it would delete 80% of lowest
priority work, generally not safety items, but would include road-
side items (vegetation control, brush cutting, roadway mowing,
litter control) storm ditch cleaning and sidewalks.
Revision #2 would be reduction of 1 utility person plus reduction
of one -half year shared utility person and would delete 100%
of items in Rev. #1, plus a 50% reduction in additional storm
drainage maintenance (catchbasins, manholes, cleaning, tight
lining ditches).
Revision #3 would be reduction of 12 man years plus reductions
in supplies, Other Services and Capital Equipment.
