Members Absent: Dan Lee, Jim Davis, Jean Thompson, and vacant position (one position is
currently vacant and not filled)

Chair Hougardy welcomed
everyone to the meeting and
asked everyone to go around
the room introducing
themselves.

Lodging Tax Funding Requests
City of Tukwila: General
B. Miles provided an overview
Operations ($133,000).

is requesting $133,000 for the
City's general operations,
which includes staff, benefits,
indirect cost allocation
reimbursement, limited
professional services, travel,
limited marketing, etc.
LTAC voted 5-0 in favor of
supporting the funding
request.
City of Tukwila: Seawolves
The City is requesting funding
Partnership ($39,000)
to partner with the Seattle
Seawolves in 2020. The
partnership will focus on
creating a better fan
experience, bringing fans to the
City, and branding the City as
the center of rugby in the
Pacific NW. Specific work items
are found in Exhibit "A" of the
application.
LTAC voted 5-0 in favor of
supporting the funding
request.
Roundtable
B. Miles discussed meeting
time moving to Friday
mornings in 2020. LTAC
members present were ok with
the change. B. Miles said he
would reach out to other
members not at the meeting.
Ashley Messmer has resigned
her position with the Museum
of Flight and her position with
City of Tukwila

LTAC. The City will begin to
recruit a replacement.
Chair Hougardy will not be
serving as chair of LTAC next
year. De'Sean Quinn will be the
chair. LTAC Members thanked
her for her work over the last
three years on LTAC.
