Case Reports by Month
Comparison of 2019 to 2000-2018
Jan Feb Mar Apr May Jun Jul Aug Sep Oct Nov Dec
Calls for service and case reports both
ended in similar ranges to previous years.
Residential burglaries ended with nearly
half as compared to last year (52 in 2019
and 102 in 2018). Over the past several
years, residential burglary has dropped
from a high of 211 in 2010. This trend is
consistent in neighboring agencies as well,
indicating a region -wide change.
Auto theft is slowly creeping back up from
overall lows in 2009. Deploying internal
crime maps with a dashboard specifically
for auto theft will help identify top
locations. These maps and dashboards
have been presented to command staff
and will be presented to patrol in the first
quarter of 2020.
[These charts show the current year (line with
triangles) as compared to previous years
(bar/rectangles). This gives perspective as to a
normal range as calculated over the past years.]
