1. Introductions were made
2. Tent City 3 moved from Riverton Park United Methodist Church December 8, 2019 to Phinney Ridge
Lutheran Church in Seattle. Tent City 3 residents were quiet, responsible neighbors during their routine
Tukwila stay. One family successfully found housing; another family has a strong potential.
Anderson Cooper, CBS News, visited TC3 interviewing several residents for a 60-minute special on people
experiencing homelessness in the West Coast. See link below for article "Rent is obscene here": The
issues forcing people in Seattle onto the street.
3. February meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6th, 2:00pm-4:00pm. The current Vice Chair will
move into the Chair position, nominations will be submitted and voted on for the Vice Chair Position. H.S.
Staff will be providing equity training for board members as equity tool to be used while the 2021-2022 RFP
applications this summer. Upcoming meetings will include a review of the HS rating tool ensuring
relevancy, discussing and making revisions as necessary.
4. Agency highlights were reviewed and discussed. There are many high performing agencies that shared
significant Tukwila success stories.
5. I&R was discussed.
6. Members shared updates.
7. RFP timeline was briefly reviewed. More detail will be discussed at the February meeting.
