Members Present: Council President De'Sean Quinn (Chair), Ben Oliver, Jim Davis, and Jean
Thompson.
Members Absent: Asia Wen, Dan Lee, and Miesa Berry There are two vacant positions on the
LTAC.
Staff Present: Brandon Miles, Mayor's Office and LTAC staff; Laurel Humphrey, City Council

group.

be amended to add the last name

Special Presentations
Food Innovation Network and
Kara Martin Food Innovation
Food Hall
Network (FIN) provided an
overview of the work of FIN
and the upcoming opening of
the Food Hall at Tukwila
Village. The Food Hall will serve
as an incubator space for small
restaurant and food production

business. FIN operations in
south King County because of
the large immigrant population
in the area. The Food Hub will
serve as a place for small
restaurants and food
production businesses to start,
with the goal being that they
will move on and out of the
space. The Food Hub opening
date is in flux given that the
space is still under
construction.
LTAC members asked questions
regarding how FIN is funded
and how the Food Hub is being
promoted.

resigned from LTAC.
