NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL
ATTENDANCE AT CONFERENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a quorum of the Tukwila City Council may be in
attendance at the National League of Cities (NLC) Congressional City Conference at
Washington Marriott Wardman Park, 2660 Woodley Rd NW, Washington D.C. during
the period of March 7, 2020 through March 11, 2020.
The purpose of the NLC Congressional City Conference is to provide opportunities for
local leaders to attend workshops and general sessions, to gain best practices, tools
and resources that can fit a diverse set of communities and needs. Conference
delegates will get specialized training to build leadership skills and conduct productive
meetings with federal representatives.
