SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tukwila City Council will hold a Special
Meeting on Monday, March 23, 2020, directly following the Committee of the Whole
meeting, which begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City Hall, 6200
Southcenter Boulevard, Tukwila, WA to consider the following:
SPECIAL MEETING
1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
2. CONSENT AGENDA
a. Approval of Vouchers
b. Accept as complete the South 196th - 200th Street Bridge Repair Project
(Contract #19-139) with Nordvind Company LLC; authorize release of retainage, subject
to the standard claim and lien release procedures. (final cost of project including
retainage: $$330,916.72)
c. Public Works Fleet and Facilities Building and Minkler Shop Improvements:
1. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Saybr Contractors, Inc. for
removal of paint booths from the Fleet and Facilities Building, in an amount not to
exceed $168,000.00.
2. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract for installation of security fence and
access gates, in an amount not to exceed $300,000.00.
3. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract for outside envelope structural repair
and painting, in an amount not to exceed $280,000.00.
4. Authorize the Mayor to sign a contract with Saybr Contractors, Inc. for a
modular building to provide additional locker rooms and shower, in an amount not to
exceed $308,000.00.

A resolution of the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, enacting a
temporary moratorium on certain residential evictions during the period of civil
emergency related to the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
