Chair Kruller called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESSAGENDA
A. Police Department Purchase: Utility Vehicle
Staff is seeking Committee approval to purchase a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) in the amount of
$26,000 using seizure forfeiture funds. The vehicle will be used to access areas not easily
reached with traditional vehicles, such as trails, parks or in crowded open spaces
Committee Recommendation:
Unanimous approval.
II. MISCELLANEOUS
Councilmember Delostrinos Johnson requested an update on both the 2020 Census outreach
as well as the future of the Community Connectors program, and the other Committee
members agreed. Staff will follow up.
Chair Kruller noted the light agenda and asked for an update on the Committee work plan.
