Remote Meeting per Governor Proclamation 20-28 April 13, 2020 — 7:00 P.M.
This meeting was not conducted at Tukwila City Hall, based onthe Governor's Proclamation
20-28 adopted March 24, 2020 which says �part: 'Any public agency, subject to RCW 42.30,
isprohibited from conducting any meeting, subject to RCW42.30 unless (a) the meeting is not
conducted in -person and instead provides onopbon(s) for the public boattend the proceedings
thn»uDh, at minimum, telephonic 000eoo.^
All perticipento, including the Mayor, Counci|membera. City staff, and legal counsel were not
at Tukwila City Hall and participated via a remote electronic system.
The phone number for public participation that was provided via the agenda disilibution
process was: 1-253-392-9750, access code 178095929#.
SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Ekberg called the remote Special Meeting ofthe Tukwila City Council toorder at 8:32pm.directly
following the Committee ofthe Whole meeting.
ROLL CALL
Barbara Saxton, Administrative Support Coordinotor, called the roll ofthe Council. Present at the
virtual meeting were Counoi|members Verna Goml, Kathy Hougan]y. De'Seon Quinn, KateKruUer,
Thomas McLeod, Zak |dan.Cynthia D*|osthnnoJohnson.

Mayor Ekberg announced the Council will now go into on Executive Session todiscuss:
Collective Bargaining —Pumuant to R[W 42.30.140(4)(a) and (4)(b)
The total amount oftime will benmmore than 6#minutes, and nodecisions will bmmade during the
Executive Session. Noaction will barequired inthe Open Meeting after the Executive Session has
concluded.
He declared the meeting adjourned as of the conclusion of the Executive Session. The Executive
Session will not be extended beyond the announced time, and they will not be returning to open session
toadjourn orfor any other reason.
8:23 p.m. Mayor Ekberg called for m brief recess to allow the Commoilmnemmbers to convene in
separate remote meeting.
