Notice is hereby given that the City of Tukwila is working towards providing a SEPA Determination
on the following project:

REQUEST:
SEPA determination for the amendment of the City of Tukwila Floodplain
Management ordinance codified in chapter 16.52 of the City of Tukwila
Municipal Code (TMC) to comply the Federal Emergency Management
Agency's National Flood Insurance Program Flood Damage Prevention
Ordinance and Washington State Department of Ecology's Model
Ordinance. The new Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and FIRM become
effective nationwide on August 19, 2020.
COMMENTS:
A copy of the SEPA Checklist for the above proposal may be obtained
from the Tukwila Planning Division by calling 206/431-3670, or by
accessing the Dept. of Ecology SEPA Register. The proposed Ordinance
and SEPA Checklist are also available on the City's E-trakit Permit Portal
at: https://permitting.tukwilawa.gov/ > Land Use Projects > Project
Information (attachments).
Written comments on the SEPA Checklist and this Notice of Application
must be received by 5 p.m. on July 23, 2020 at: City of Tukwila, DCD, Suite
100, 6300 Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188; or by contacting the
