Chair McLeod called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESSAGENDA
A. Kin Cg ounty's Coronavirus Relief Fund Grant
Committee members and staff discussed Tukwila's award of $31,965 from the King County
Coronavirus Relief Fund which could be used for small business grants or street pole
banners/flags.
Items requiring follow-up
Provide update on implementation effort.

B. Economic Development Work Plan
Staff updated the Committee on the economic development workplan for the year.

• Provide update on status of Healthpoint project.
• Provide briefing on the current vision informing economic development
• Provide examples of other cities' economic development plans

C. Tourism Funding Work Plan
Staff updated the Committee on a schedule of items leading to development of the 2021-2022
lodging tax budget.

Staff provided an overview on the City's use of lodging tax and Tourism Promotion Area funds
and the distinctions between them.

E. "Experience Tukwila" Performance Measures
Staff briefed the Committee on performance measures and key performance indicators for the
"Experience Tukwila" social media campaign.
