Chair Seal called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. Public Safety Bond Financial Oversight Committee Report
Mr. Reiswig, Chair, presented the Report.
Committee Recommendation
• Discussion only.
B. Resolution: Discontinue Temporary Pay Reduction for Non -Represented Employees
Staff is seeking Council approval of a resolution that would repeal Resolution 1988 which
established a temporary pay reduction for non -represented employees to assist with the
COVID-19 related budget shortfall. Employees will resume normal pay and working hours on
November 1, 2020.
Committee Recommendation
• Unanimous approval. Forward to October 12, 2020 Committee of the Whole.
II. MISCELLANEOUS
Staff updated the Committee on the forthcoming process for hiring a Police Chief.
Item(s) needing follow-up
Councilmember Idan suggested removing zip codes from the online community survey.
