Neudorfer Engineers performed the air balancing and water balancing on the following: (1) New Air Handler with a Chilled Water Coil. This fan has been checked for unit data, operating amperage, voltage, rotation, RPM, and operating static pressure. All outlets have been proportioned to ± 10% of design airflow unless otherwise noted. New Air Handler (AHU-AH1M18) This new unit was connected to the existing ductwork and serves the existing cleanroom in the Boeing Building 9-101. Design is 17,000 CFM and actual is 17,740 CFM (104% of design total). A total air duct traverse was obtained; refer to Duct Traverse Sheet T-01 for further details. After the supply diffusers were proportioned, the minimum outside air was obtained. The return air velocity was obtained across the return air intake grille; refer to Duct Traverse Sheet T-02, for further details. The room pressure differential between the cleanroom and the main plant was 0.008" of water column. Then the chilled water control valve was commanded full open. The TA manual circuit setter was set the design GPM; refer to the Coil Test Data Sheet for further details. Balancing diagrams are attached to this report with outlets numbered for locations. I DATF TYPICAL AIR HANDLING UNIT UNIT START/STOP THE DDC SYSTEM SHALL START/STOP THE AIR HANDLING UNIT (AHU) ON ITS OWN SCHEDULE. PROOF OF RUN STATUS SHALL BE MONITORED BY A CURRENT SENSOR, UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. ANY ASSOCIATED INTERLOCKED EQUIPMENT SHALL ALSO START. WHEN THE UNIT IS STOPPED (NORMAL OR OTHERWISE), THE ASSOCIATED INTERLOCKED EQUIPMENT SHALL ALSO STOP. WHEN AN AIR HANDLING PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IS STOPPED, ITS OUTSIDE AIR DAMPER SHALL CLOSE AND THE RETURN AIR DAMPER SHALL OPEN AFTER THE FAN HAS COME TO A STOP. WHEN THE UNIT IS STOPPED, COOLING—COIL AND STEAM HEATING VALVES SHALL CLOSE TO THE COIL. VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE FAN MOTOR CONTROL THE DDC SHALL MONITOR THE SUPPLY AIR SYSTEM FAN INLET AIR FLOW STATION AND MODULATE THE SUPPLY FAN SPEED TO COMPENSATE FOR FILTER LOADING. ECONOMIZER CONTROL THE DDC SYSTEM SHALL COMPARE THE SIGNAL OF AN OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR AND THE RETURN AIR TEMPERATURE. AS LONG AS THE OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE IS BELOW THE RETURN AIR TEMPERATURE AND THE UNIT IS CALLING FOR COOLING, THE DDC SYSTEM SHALL MODULATE THE OUTSIDE AIR AND RETURN AIR DAMPERS TO ADMIT MORE OUTSIDE AIR TO MAINTAIN DISCHARGE SETPOINT. DEHUMIDIFCATION THE DDC SHALL MONITOR SPACE HUMIDITY. THE DDC SYSTEM SHALL MODULATE THE THE HEATING COIL VALVE AND THE COOLING COIL VALVE TO MAINTAIN 45% RELATIVE HUMIDIY IN THE SPACE AND 70 DEG IN THE SPACE. HUMIDIFIER THE DDC SHALL MONITOR SPACE HUMIDITY. THE DDC SHALL MODULATE THE HUMIDIFIER CONTROL VALVE SUPPLY AIR HUMIDITY TO MAINTAIN 45% RELATIVE HUMIDIY IN THE SPACE. TEMPERATURE CONTROL THE DDC SYSTEM SHALL MONITOR THE SPACE TEMPERATURE. THE DDC SHALL RESET THE AHU DISCHARGE TEMPERATURE TO MEET THE SPACE COOLING DEMAND. WHEN THE ECONOMIZER REACHES MINIMUM OSA DAMPER POSITION AND UPON A FURTHER CALL FOR HEATING, THE DDC SHALL MODULATE THE STEAM CONTROL VALVE TO MAINTAIN DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT. AFTER THE ECONOMIZER REACHES FULL "FREE COOLING" POSITION AND UPON A FURTHER CALL FOR COOLING, THE DDC SHALL RESET THE OSA DAMPER TO THE REVIEWED FOR MINIMUM POSITION AND MODULATE THE COOLING CONTROL VALVE TO MAINTAIN tO4BCOMPLIANCE DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT.APPROVED FREEZE PROTECTION JUL 0 A FREEZESTAT 2016 SHALL STOP THE SUPPLY FAN, CAUSE THE OUTSIDE AIR AND RETURN AIR DAMPERS TO RETURN TO THEIR SPECIFIED "OFF" POSITION, AND SHALL INITIATE A LOW—TEMPERATURE ALARM (VIA MONITORED AUXILIARY CONTACTS) IF THE Tukwila TEMPERATURE DROPS BELOW THE FREEZESTAT'S SETPOINT. RETURN TO THE NORMAL BUILD NG ISION MODE OF OPERATION SHALL REQUIRE MANUAL RESET. SMOKE DETECTION SMOKE DETECTOR(S) IN THE AIR STREAM SHALL PROVIDE A "HARD -WIRED" SHUTDOWN OF THE SUPPLY FAN AND INITIATE A SMOKE ALARM AT THE DDC IF SMOKE IS DETECTED. RESTARTING THE SUPPLY FAN SHALL REQUIRE MANUAL RESET AT THE SMOKE DETECTORS. AIR FILTERS THE DDC PANEL SHALL MONITOR THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SWITCH ACROSS THE FILTER AND SHALL PROVIDE AN ALARM WHEN THE PRESSURE DROP EXCEEDS THE SETPOINT.
