No plumbing piping shall be directly embedded in concrete or masonry. 11: All pipes penetrating floor/ceiling assemblies and fire -resistance rated walls or partitions shall be protected in accordance with the requirements of the building code. 12: Piping in the ground shall be laid on a firm bed for its entire length.
