HomeMy WebLinkAbout1970 - Slope Easement - Tukwila Interurban Investment Company - 6708013670801 s i F El SLOPE EASEMENT THE GRANTOR(S), Tukwila Interurban Investment Co. being the owners of the following described real property situated M in Tukwila, King County, Washington: 00 O Lots 24 and 25, Block 8, Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, Page 24, Records of King County, Washington for and in consideration of One Dollar($1.00) and the obligation of the City of Tukwila to readjust and /or replace in kind the existing driveway, walkway, stairway, rockery and retaining wall, and other valuable considerations in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant an easement to the CITY OF TUKWILA a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, to con- struct and maintain upon the above described property; cut slopes and fill slopes of li,, feet horizontally for each foot of elevation of cut or fill. Such easement is for the purpose of providing and maintaining lateral support for South 141st Plam, when improved to the full width of the right of way in conformity with the existing center line grades, and there is reserved to the Grantor(s), heirs and assigns, the right to remove said slopes at any time upon providing and maintaining other adequate lateral support. THIS AGREEMENT shall constitute a covenant running with the land. DATED this �6 day of 19W. l G i Easement No. 14- 105 -16 6708413 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT WHEREAS Tukwila Interurban Investment Co. here- inafter referred to as Grantor(s) is /are the owner(s) of real estate lying adjacent to South 141st Place in Tukwila, Wash- ington, and, WHEREAS the City of Tukwila, Washington, hereinafter referred to as Grantee is maintaining, improving, widening, paving, constructing, repairing, altering and /or reconstructing South 141st 0 1 Pa c�P r� NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) 1.0 and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, Grantor(s) hereby grant(s) to Grantee a Temporary Construction Easement during the improving, widening, paving, constructing, repairing, altering, and /or reconstruction Of South 141st Place for any and all purposes relating to said improving, widening, paving, constructing, repairing, altering, and /or reconstruction of South 141st Place The temporary construction easement shall commence on the date of this instrument acid will terminate on the date the South 141st Place improvements have been accepted by the City of Tukwila. Said easement shall be over, under, across, along, in and upon the following described real estate: Lots 24 and 25, Block 8, Hillman's Seattle Garden Tracts according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 11 of Plats, Page 24, Records of King County, Washington During the period of this easement the City shall have the right of ingress and egress to and from the above described property for the foregoing purposes.
