NOTICE OF APPLICATION
PROJECT INFORMATION (#L20-0058)
The Boeing Company has filed an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development Permit to install a
stormwater collection and treatment system at the Boeing Developmental Center (DC) at 9725 E. Marginal Way S.
The DC is located between East Marginal Way S. and the Duwamish River. The project will require the removal of
the existing stormwater conveyance system and installation of new conveyance piping, pumps, and treatment
beds. The only visible change in the existing conditions will include features of the treatment beds extending
above existing grade, with the majority of the work occurring underground. Much of the project area is located
within the 200-foot shoreline jurisdiction. Project work will occur in developed areas landward of the top of bank.
The overall disturbed area will cover 80,000 square feet and include the removal of 9 trees.
Projects applied for include: L20-0058 (Shoreline Substantial Development); E20-0007 (SEPA); L20-0057
(Shoreline Tree Permit); and PW20-0093 (Public Works)
Other known required permits include: construction permits

19 restrictions, City Hall is not open to the public.
