Finance Chair Seal called the meeting to order.
Multigenerational Center in the Tukwila International Boulevard Neighborhood
Staff presented a draft RFP/planning process for a new multigenerational center with a draft
timeline showing construction beginning in early 2023.
Budget Review - General Fund
Councilmembers discussed the proposed budgets for the Police Department, Fire Department, and
Public Works Department. The Public Works Department will continue to be discussed at the
November 5, 2020 Budget Work Session. No decisions were made, and questions needing staff
follow-up were noted in a tracking document. Councilmembers agreed to use time on the
November 2, 2020 Regular Meeting agenda to continue the General Fund.
