The Ad- hoc committee was tasked to convene one more time to word smith and align the mission statement with the commissioner training. • Commissioners reviewed the Foster High School ESJC recruitment flier and requested two draft examples that include less verbiage, is eye-popping and if feasible offer a QFR code for students that heavily rely on smart phone. • Commissioners and guest discussed cultural events for the City of Tukwila with an emphasis that all cultural events must be inclusive and representative ofTukwila's diverse community. Commissions Updates Arts Commission January 27, 2021—The Arts Commission is working on the Ignition NW Art installations and identifying options for art installations in Tukwila Parks; The Southcenter District Art, Baker Blvd is complete and a videographer has been brought on to document the project; The Utility Box Art Program allowed for art design on the City of Tukwila's utility boxes at Baker Blvd and Andover Park E. Community Orientated February 11, 2021— Advisory Board approved January meeting minutes, Interim Police Chief Policing Citizen's briefed the board on current updates and the Advisory Board discussed the COPCAB Advisory Board Community Survey. (COPCAB) Tukwila Library Advisory February 2, 2021— Commission discussed their 2021 goals, budget and meeting schedule for Board the year, with the goal to have a guest speaker present to the commission. Lodging Tax Advisory February 12, 2021-LTAC Advisory committee approved January 8, 2021 minutes, de -briefed Committee (LTAC) the committee on the Southcenter Art and general businesses update regarding the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority CEO search update, Experience Tukwila and SavingLocal/KC.com. Tukwila's newest business Spicebridge as featured in Forbes. Parks Commission February 10, 2021— Park Commission has three positions available and Commissioners were briefed on the Tukwila Pond Park Master Plan.
