SUMMARY
The Parks and Recreation Department acquired the S. 116th St. parcel in 2019. The parcel
has two structures on site and staff had plans to begin demolition in 2021. Unfortunately,
one of the structures caught fire in late 2020 and demolition of this structure, along with
others on the property is now a priority.
