Meeting Minutes
April 5, 2021- 5:30 p.m. - Electronic Meeting due to COVID-19 Emergency

Chair Delostrinos Johnson called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
I. BUSINESS AGENDA
A. CPSM Report & Fire Department Sustainability Working Group
Staff briefed the Committee on a plan to set up a stakeholder group called the Fire Financial
Advisory Coalition to work through the CPSM recommendations toward a goal of providing
high quality and financially sustainable fire services. This group will also include community
participation via an application and appointment process.
Items(s) requiring follow-up:
• Document in Committee which recommendations are being removed for consideration
due to labor considerations or other factors.
• Edit list of Team Objectives in the draft Charter by adding "Shared Values" and changing
Data Driven to Data Informed Analysis.
• Add concept of "co -creative space," add lnguage around innovation and creativity to draft
Charter.
• Consider creating a short video presentation to help with community recruitment.
• Councilmember Delostrinos Johnson is interested in participating.
• Facilitate a meeting culture that honors all group member perspectives
Committee Recommendation:
Return to Committee.
II. MISCELLANEOUS
The meeting adjourned at 6:14 p.m.
