CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Ekberg called the remote Special Meeting of the Tukwila City Council to order at 9:32 p.m. directly
following the Committee ofthe Whole meeting.

Mayor Ekberg relayed Ms. Gierloff is uniquely qualified to lead the department due to her history serving
as the City's Deputy Director of Community Development for 11 years prior to joining the City of Shoreline
in2O1Qand investment inTuhwi|o'olong-term plans and community.

Department ofCommunity Development tothe Council inthe future.
*MOTION CARRIED 7-0.
Mayor Ekberg recognized Jack Pace, Community Development Director, for 26 years of service to the
Tukwila community.
The Counoi|membern reflected on Mr. Pace's leadership and accomplishments and wished him well in his
