Project Description: The City of Tukwila is seeking a waiver from a wetland buffer boundary modified by two adjacent resto-
ration projects, the Chinook Wind restoration site and the Duwamish Gardens restoration site. If specific criteria are met, a
waiver for an interrupted buffer may be granted by the Director as a Type 11 decision pursuant to TMC 18.45.080.F.2 .
Your written comments on the project are requested and can be delivered to Dept. of Community Development, 6300 Southcenter Blvd,
Suite 100, Tukwila WA 98188. Comments must be received by 5:00 PM on May 11, 2021. You may review the application through the City's
permit portal (https://tukw-egov.aspgov.com/PZ/index.html) or by contacting the project planner listed below (City offices are closed to the
public during the COVID-19 restrictions). The project planner can also provide a copy of any decision, accept your comment on the project,
and provide information on your appeal rights.
