Postcards notifying businesses of the change will be mailed out

to all Tukwila businesses in early March. Informational
outreach to the Chamber of Commerce and posts to social
media will occur over the next several weeks. In addition, the
Finance Department will be setting up a kiosk so that

The City will cancel its automated
interactive phone system on March 1, 2019
Among the methods available to Tukwila utility customers for
paying their bills was an automated interactive phone
system. Due to minimal use of that system, the City has
chosen to cancel the service effective March 1, 2019. Utility
payments may still be made via the web, by mail, in person at
the Finance Department counter in City Hall, or over the
phone. As an additional option, the Finance Department is
installing a kiosk at City Hall for use by customers to pay
bills. The kiosk will also be available to apply for, and renew,
a business license. Look for the kiosk to be fully operational in
April.
