Quick Links City of Tukwila Website City Employment Opportunities Winter 2020 Activities Guide TukTV Councilmember Dennis Robertson is retiring from the City Council this month after 24 years of service, holding office first from 1988-1995 and again from 2004-2019. The City Council and Mayor honored Councilmember Robertson at the December 9 meeting with Resolution 1979 thanking him for his Tukwila Elected Officials service to the Tukwila community. Mayor: Allan Ekberg Councilmember Robertson and his wife, Karen, have lived in City Council: the community since 1975. He got his start in public service Kathy Hougardy (Council by leading the Tukwila-McMicken Action Committee that President) worked on many initiatives including successful annexation to Dennis Robertson Verna Seal the City of Tukwila. He retired as an Information Systems De'Sean Quinn Manager from Boeing but worked a wide variety of jobs Kate Kruller ranging from driving taxi cabs to program management of Thomas McLeod computer system developments. He also served six years in Zak Idan the United States Air Force. In his retirement, Councilmember Robertson plans to focus on quality family time and hobbies including woodworking and writing. When asked to comment, Dennis said, "It was a great 24 years. Thanks to everyone for letting me be a part of this City's wonderful government."
