After extensive preparation over the last two years, we are finally ready to begin construction in 2019 on Fire Stations 51 & 52, as well as the Tukwila Justice Center. City of Tukwila Website City Employment Opportunities Winter/Spring 2019 Activities Guide TukTV 2019 Public Safety Plan Preview Tukwila Elected Officials The Neighborhood Traffic Calming Mayor: Allan Ekberg Program (NTCP) City Council: The City of Tukwila Public Works Department has a new Kathy Hougardy (Council President) program aimed to calm traffic on residential streets. Any Dennis Robertson resident or association (such as a Homeowner's Association) is Verna Seal eligible to enroll a street in the NTCP. A request should be De'Sean Quinn made in writing, either by physical letter or by email. Kate Kruller Thomas McLeod Requests must include a contact name, address, phone Zak Idan number, and email address. Anonymous requests and complaints are not accepted. Requests should include a description of the location and the specific problem that needs to be addressed. From there, staff will begin looking into the individual concerns, work with the residents, and develop a plan of action. The mission of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to individuals enrolled for undergraduate study in community colleges, colleges, trade schools and universities. Selection criteria include but are not limited to academic accomplishments, community service, references, financial need, and personal essay. Download the application The deadline to submit scholarship applications is March 29, 2019 - no exceptions. Eligibility Criteria: Must be a resident of the City of Tukwila. Proof of residency is required at the time of application: most recent utility bill. Must be equivalent to a senior in high school. Must demonstrate a substantial financial need as indicated on the FAFSA Student Aid Report. Must have applied to an undergraduate program at a community college, trade school oruniversity. Must demonstrate leadership qualities as evidenced by involvement in extra-curricular activities. Must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or higher.
