The plan establishes a vision for investments, a.nd ongoing °maintenance and management of this system for the next six -plus years. The plan includes solutions for projects, °programs., and services that wilt advance the community's vision and goals. Its purpose: providing financial assistance and opportunity to deserving students for continuing. their education beyond high school. We are taking, applications .from those enrolled for undergraduate study in community colleges, colleges, trade schools, and universities. Selection criteria include, but are not limited to, academic. accomplishments, community service., references, financial need, and personal essay. Oversight Committee ,hohill be open as of „April 1, 2020. The purpose of this committee is to independently represent taxpayers concerning the City's expenditure of revenues received from the sale of .general obligation bands. The committee meets between 2 4 times per year to review how the IPublic Safety Plan bond proceeds are lbeing spent.
