AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR EXPENDITURE OF MONIES NOT PROVIDED FOR
IN THE PRECEDING ANNUAL BUDGET SETTING OUT THE AMOUNT CONSTITUTING
THE EMERGENCY FOR SAID EXPENDITURE AND THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF
MONEY REQUIRED TO MEET THE SAME AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY EXISTS
WHEREAS obligations have been incurred, and will be incurred,
which, in the judgement of the Town Council of the
Town of Tukwila coula not have been reasonably fireseen at the
adoption of the preceding annual budget, and
WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen for the payment of said
obligations incurred, and to be incurred,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA:
Section 1. That the estimated amount of obligations incurred, and
to be incurred by the Tom of Tukwila, which could not
have been reasonably foreseen at the time of the adoption of the
preceding annual budget, by tree Town Council, for additional ex-
penaitures for the Street Department are in the amount of ONE
THOUSAND, OL E HUND tLD (:1100.00) DOLLARS.
Section 2. It is hereby declared that an emergency exists for the
payment of the above obligations incurred ana to be
incurred as set out in Section 1 of the herein ordinance, and that
the aforesaid sum be made available for the payment of the same,
there being presently more than said amount in the treasury of the
Town of Tukwila, in the Current Street Fund.
This ordinance shall be in full force ana effect immediately after
its passage, approval and posting as required by law.
PASSED the Town Council and approved by the Mayor this 18th day of
November 1957
